Latest comments from Toy Story 4 cast are preparing us for an emotional roller coaster

Rudi Kinsella

We’re not sure if we’re quite ready for this just yet.

Earlier this week, we shared the most recent teaser for Toy Story 4, which showed us a preview of a new-look Bo Peep, and it got us really excited.

But as excited as we are, it’s starting to feel like we should be preparing for something pretty damn emotional with this movie.

First we had Tom Hanks’ comments, where he said that he couldn’t look at his co-workers when he recorded his final scene as Woody, and went as far as describing it as “a moment in history”.

And now we’ve got Tim Allen, who voices Buzz Lightyear in the movies, weighing in on the subject on Twitter.

Allen tweeted to say: “Finished my Buzz for Toy Story 4 today and it got emotional. Wonderful full body story. You are all going to love the work this incredible team at Pixar created. We are all going to love this story….man its got everything.”

And then we even got a little reminder that Buzz and Woody are one of the best duos in cinema history, with this simple tweet:

Many people felt that Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending to the brilliant franchise, but the comments being made by these cast members are starting to get us very excited for the fourth (and final) part of the saga.

Toy Story 4 is due to be released on 21 June of 2019.
