Humble is the word…
Ireland and Leinster prop, and Man-of-the-Match in Twickenham, Tadhg Furlong joined Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show on Friday night and left a big mark on the public.
He was greeted with a rapturous reception by the audience who greeted him waving a sea of Irish flags.

Furlong, who’s previously given a great interview on The Hard Yards show, spoke at length about what the Grand Slam meant to him and also the enormity of the occasion on St Patrick’s Day.
To Tubridy’s disappointment, Furlong didn’t bring his Six Nations medal to the studio because he left it on his granny’s kitchen table.
The humility of the man is what struck people the most.

With all the negative crap that goes on in the world, be it political or not, how refreshing is it to see the finer side of life!! An excited rugby fan meeting one of our Irish sporting heros in Tadhg Furlong & then getting gifted a signed Irish jersey! 👏👌🏉🇮🇪 #latelate

Furlong is Ireland’s most likeable sports person at present…by a distance…
