Ray D'Arcy Show

Good news for fans of Mindhunter.

With rumours spreading that Season 3 of Mindhunter won’t get underway until David Fincher completes filming on his next film, fans of the serial killer drama might be looking for their next fix.

Well, Kemper on Kemper: Inside the Mind of a Serial Killer is being aired this Sunday on Sky Crime but fans of the show will also be happy to know that  Mindhunter actor Holt McCallany will be on this week’s Ray D’arcy Show.

Throughout Season 2, you could argue that McCallany performance as Agent Bill Tench was the emotional heart of the show as he struggled with his day-to-day job profiling serial killers and the massive problems that were developing at home involving his son.

Well, the actor will be on the couch to talk about the success of the series and his back catalogue of Hollywood hits. We’ve a feeling that his memorable performance in Fight Club will get a mention too!

The American actor will also tell Ray about his Irish roots and how he ended up in an Irish boarding school after he ran away from home.

As she nears retirement, much-loved Nationwide presenter Mary Kennedy will also be in studio to look back on her 41-year-long illustrious broadcasting career.

Broadcaster, author and academic Emma Dabiri will speak to D’arcy about her new book, Don’t Touch My Hair.

Legendary voiceover artist Redd Pepper will also drop by to shoot the breeze about his journey from tube driver to movie trailer superstar.

Finally, Ray will be joined by Michaela Boehm, intimacy coach to A-list stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Will Smith.

The Ray D’Arcy Show airs on RTÉ One at 9:45pm this Saturday 23 November.
