Another Monday, another night in.

The weather is still miserable out there, so we recommend tucking yourself in on the couch this evening.

And what better way to spend an evening than with a good film?

Here’s our pick for the top films on the small screen tonight.

X-Men: Days of Future Past – Film4 – 6.15pm

Our top pick for tonight is high up on our rankings for the best superhero film.

The X-Men travel back in time to stop a dystopian future where mutants are hunted down.

The film brings the original cast and the stars of the prequels together on screen for the first time, and it’s just really fun to watch.

Even if you haven’t seen the previous ones, this is well worth a watch.

SWAT – Sony Movie Channel – 6.40pm

Colin Farrell and Samuel L Jackson team up as elite cops escorting a crime boss to prison, fighting off every criminal known to man.

Tremors – Horror Channel – 9pm

A shaky premise, but a good time nonetheless.

Swordfish – Turner Classic Movies – 9pm

Hugh Jackman is the best damn hacker we’ve got. The film earned John Travolta a Razzie nomination for Worst Actor, and surely it has to be worth a watch if only for that?

The Post – TG4 – 9.30pm

Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Sarah Paulson and Bob Odenkirk star in this retelling of the discovery of the Pentagon papers.

Under Siege – ITV4 – 10pm

What if Steven Seagal fought terrorists on a boat… and was also a chef?
