Two more weeks until Christmas…

Not to put the pressure on, just in case you haven’t bought any presents yet.

But forget all that, relax and settle in for a great movie tonight.

Here’s the best of what’s on telly on Sunday.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – E4 – 5.50pm

Michael Bay produced this, so it has everything you would expect. Lots of CGI, insane action, and also Megan Fox is there.

The Karate Kid – Film 4 – 6.35pm

Where it all began for Cobra Kai and Daniel-san. Wax on, wax off…

The Campaign – RTÉ2 – 9pm

When this comedy first came out, it seemed too ridiculous that politicians would act this way. Now? It cuts a bit too close to home.

Kevin and Perry Go Large – Comedy Central – 9pm

Harry Enfield stars in this gross-out comedy taking on rave culture in the 2000’s.

Fast Five – ITV2 – 9pm

The film that arguably cemented the Fast and Furious franchise as much-see cinema (for better or for worse).

Full Metal Jacket – Turner Classic Movies – 9pm

Stanley Kubrick directs this intense Vietnam war film.

The Shape of Water – Channel 4 – 10.55pm

Cleaner meets fishman. Cleaner and fishman fall in love. It’s a tale as old as time…

Total Recall – ITV4 – 11.55pm

Our top pick for tonight is one of Schwarzenegger’s most insane action films, and it’s well worth a watch.

It’s chock full of action, special effects, and a triple breasted woman like the one Busted sang about.

A spectacle in every sense of the word, give this one a go if you haven’t before.
