It's a brand new week...

... which means plenty of films to check out on the telly. If there was ever an excuse to break out those Christmas pyjamas you got as a present two years ago, it would be to settle in and watch a movie. Here are our top picks of what to watch on your screens this Monday.

Central Intelligence - Film4 - 6.55pm

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is joined by Kevin "The Pebble" Hart in this action comedy about the CIA.

V For Vendetta - Turner Classic Movies - 9pm

Adapted from the graphic novel, this film is why Anonymous wear those Guy Fawkes masks.

There Will Be Blood - TG4 - 9.30pm

Our top pick is a tour de force of acting from Ireland's own Daniel Day-Lewis. Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, The Master), Day-Lewis stars as an oil baron during the South California oil boom of the late 19th century. The film won multiple Oscars, including a Best Actor win for Day-Lewis. An absolutely brilliant film.

Bad Teacher - E! Entertainment - 10pm

Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel star in this very 2010's romantic comedy.

The Chronicles of Riddick - ITV4 - 11pm

Vin Diesel's sci-fi passion project about a badass anti hero. You should probably just play the game of the same name on Xbox.

Kill Bill: Vol. 1 - Turner Classic Movies - 11.45pm

The first part of Tarantino's ultra-violent revenge story.
