Party time! Excellent!

The dust has finally settled after a very long week of partying.

Two bank holidays in a row, one of which was Paddy’s Day, probably means that you’re absolutely shattered this evening.

If you had any good intentions of going to the gym or meeting up with friends, forget about it.

Sit back and relax before you head back into the land of the living tomorrow.

Here are all the top films on telly this Sunday (20 March).

Wayne’s World 1+2 – Great! Movies – 4.50pm

Our top pick for tonight is a comedy double bill which still manages to stand the test of time.

Originally a Saturday Night Live sketch, Wayne and Garth made the leap to the big screen with huge success, even reigniting the popularity of Bohemian Rhapsody worldwide.

It’s over the top, it’s incredibly quotable, and the tunes are unbelievable. You can always make time to rewatch this series.

Superman Returns – ITV2 – 5.55pm

The sixth one.

The Day The Earth Stood Still – E4 – 7pm

Keanu Reeves fights to prove that mankind is worth saving.

Rocketman – Film4 – 9pm

Well worth a watch, especially with the news of a U2 biography on the way.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back – E4 – 9pm

The second one (of the Tom Cruise ones, that is).

Meet The Parents – Comedy Central – 9pm

Robert De Niro’s greatest performance. There, I said it.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome – ITV4 – 9pm

Mel Gibson’s final outing as the Maddest Max of them all.

V For Vendetta – Turner Classic Movies – 9pm

V for Very Good.

Glass – Channel 4 – 10pm

Like Spider-Man: No Way Home, but for M. Night Shyamalan films.

The Queen V Patrick O’Donnell – TG4 – 10.55pm

If it weren’t for the documents to back it up, you’d almost think this biographical story was too good to be true.

Bullitt – ITV4 – 11.10pm

Steve McQueen tears through the streets of San Francisco in this cop thriller.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
