It contains one of the greatest uses of music in a scene ever.
Once again, the clocks have moved forward an hour.
If you are anything like me, you’re probably a bit groggy after losing a precious hour of sleep.
There’s only one way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.
That’s, of course, with a good film.
Here’s JOE’s top picks for the movies on TV this Sunday (27 March).
Mamma Mia – UTV – 4pm
The perfect film. Yeah, we said it.
Moonraker – ITV4 – 5.25pm
Bond, but in SPACE.
Man of Steel – ITV2 – 6.15pm
In case you’re still on that DC buzz after seeing The Batman.
The Greatest Showman – E4 – 8pm
All the joy of the circus, with 100% more Hugh Jackman.
Kingsman: The Secret Service – Film4 – 8pm
Our top pick for tonight is an excellent action comedy which is eternally rewatchable.
Taron Egerton stars as an unlikely spy fighting an insane villain in Samuel L. Jackson.
The action is ridiculous, the jokes are sharp, and you will never listen to Free Bird in the same way again.
Well worth a watch.
Kill Bill: Volume 2 – Great! Movies – 8pm
The gory conclusion to Quentin Tarantino’s samurai story.
Cliffhanger – ITV4 – 9pm
An elaborate heist film, except in the Rockies.
Meet The Fockers – Comedy Central – 9pm
The second one.
Bad Neighbours 2 – E4 – 10pm
When bad neighbours become good friends. (We’re still not over Neighbours being cancelled, if you haven’t noticed.)
La La Land – BBC One – 11.05pm
The all singing, all dancing, Oscar winning extravaganza.
Scarface – ITV4 – 11.15pm
Say hello to your little friend before you nod off for the night.
