Essential viewing for any Drive To Survive fan.

The weekend has wound down and come to an end.

You may have spent the past two days in celebration that clubs will be open until 6am very soon.

Or, you may be planning on staying up and watching Wrestlemania tonight, surrounded by energy drinks and snacks to keep you awake.

Regardless of your plans tonight, it’s a good time to stay in and check out a film on the telly.

Here’s our top picks for the movies on TV this Sunday (3 April).

Shrek – ITV2 – 5.25pm

SomeBODY once told me that this was an incredible animated feature, and they’d be right.

The Martian – Film4 – 6.10pm

Ridley Scott directs this sci-fi drama about a stranded Matt Damon living on Mars.

The Huntsman: Winter’s War – E4 – 6.50pm

Both a prequel and a sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman. Mildly confusing, we know.

Johnny English – ITV2 – 7.10pm

Well worth it for the ABBA scene alone.

The Other Woman – Comedy Central – 9pm

Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton, and Leslie Mann team up to take down the eternally charming but smarmy Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

Senna – Pick – 9pm

Our top choice tonight is a masterclass in documentary filmmaking, although the subject matter makes it incredibly compelling viewing.

Ayrton Senna was one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time. Through home videos and archive footage, the documentary gives a profile of the man behind the wheel, including his legendary rivalry with fellow world champion Alain Prost.

Even if you have no interest in the sport, this film is well worth your time.

Jason Bourne – E4 – 9pm

The fifth one.

Oblivion – ITV4 – 10.30pm

Unfortunately not an adaptation of the best Elder Scrolls game, just Tom Cruise fighting aliens.

Legend – Film4 – 11.20pm

A criminally (see what we did there?) underrated film starring Tom Hardy as both Kray twins, terrorising London in the 1960’s.

Interview With The Vampire – Turner Classic Movies – 11.25pm

A gothic horror detailing the dangers of investigative journalism.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
