It’s on.

With the Late Late Show in ‘Best Of’ mode and Graham Norton on holidays, there’s nothing stopping you from diving into a movie or three tonight.

They usually save the very best until the weekend, so let’s see how it looks on this Friday, 12 July…

Rope – TCM – 7.15pm

Hitchcock thriller in which two students commit murder and then invite the victim’s friends and family around for a party in a bid to prove they can get away with it.

Psycho – TCM – 9pm

An even more iconic Hitchcock offering.

Jennifer’s Body – SyFy – 9pm

Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried navigate difficult high school waters in extremely bloody fashion.

Eye in the Sky – RTÉ 2 – 9.40pm

Helen Mirren and Alan Rickman engage in drone warfare.

Reservoir Dogs – Dave – 10pm

Sharp-suited veteran criminals pull off a jewel heist without any trouble whatsoever.

Don’t Breathe – Film 4 – 10.50pm

Home invasion thriller in which a trio of thieves rob a blind man who’s actually a lot more prepared for such an encounter than they bargained for.

Very good until it isn’t.

Let Me In – SyFy – 11.10pm

The American version of Swedish vampire drama Let the Right One In.

Not as good, but not bad.

LA Confidential – RTÉ One – 11.15pm
