Some good choices here tonight if you’re staying in.

The weather is … a bit of a mixed bag lately.

So the safest option is probably to just chill on the couch and throw on a movie.

Here’s what we’re dealing with tonight:

Rocky IV – 8pm – ITV Four

The best one.

Taken – 9pm – Channel Four

Very particular set of skills etc.

Friends With Benefits – 9pm – Comedy Central

Two beautiful people (Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake) see whether or not they can actually survive as, you guessed it, friends with benefits. It’s decent.

Baywatch – 9pm – E4

Even more beautiful people (Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario and Priyanka Chopra), running very slowly on a beach.

Jurassic World – 9.15pm -RTÉ One

Decades on from the creation of Jurassic Park, a fully operational attraction filled with genetically engineered dinosaurs has been opened on the island. Asking for trouble, really.

The Wedding Planner – 9.20pm – RTÉ Two

Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey star in this very wholesome rom-com.

Guardians of the Galaxy – 10.20pm – BBC One

One of the best films from the MCU, which is really saying something considering they make up some of the biggest movies of all time.

Cool Hand Luke – 10.20pm – TG4

An all-time classic that still holds up over 50 years after its release. It also features one of the best opening lines of any movie ever – “What we’ve got here is failure to communicate.”

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
