WATCH: The trailer for this celebrity murder mystery improv comedy looks incredible

Conan O’Brien, Sharon Stone, and Schitts Creeks’ Annie Murphy all make guest appearances.

Netflix have launched the trailer for Murderville, a new murder mystery / improv comedy series that looks like everything we ever wanted, but never knew we needed.

Executive produced by and starring Will Arnett (Bojack Horseman, Arrested Development), the series follows detective Terry Seattle solving crimes with a new celebrity guest each episode.

Here’s the twist, however;

The celebrity guest has no idea what’s going on.

The guest stars won’t have seen the script prior to each scene, and will simply have to go along with whatever the other characters suggest they do.

One example can be seen in the trailer, when former late show host and Simpsons writer Conan O’Brien is forced to go undercover at a party, where his fake surname grows longer and longer with each full stop.

Another scene shows Oscar nominated actress Sharon Stone trying one of the worst (and funniest) German accents we’ve seen on TV in a long time.

At the end of each episode, the guest star will have the opportunity to point a finger at one of the surrounding cast members and figure out whodunnit.

An absolutely insane premise for a show, but one that we are dying to see.

The guest stars are all of a top quality too.

As mentioned before, Conan O’Brien and Sharon Stone will feature, but stars from all walks of life will feature in the show.

Annie Murphy (Schitts Creek), Ken Jeong (The Hangover, Community), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Marvels’ Eternals) and Super Bowl champion and NFL legend Marshawn Lynch are all set to take their chance at solving all of the murders in, eh, Murderville.

The series is set to arrive on the streaming service on 3 February.
