Unlucky for some, but not if you’re searching Netflix later for something good to watch!

Netflix has just added a baker’s dozen of movies to its library, so you’ve plenty of options to check out during the bad weather this week.

13 HOURS

Probably director Michael Bay’s most restrained movie, which admittedly isn’t saying much. It is based on the true story of a six soldiers who had to protect a political base in Benghazi from terrorist attacks. John Krasinski, Pablo Schreiber and Toby Stephens headline the cast.

ALI

We’ve said it before. We’ll say it again. Will Smith’s team-up with director Michael Mann for this boxing biopic is what he SHOULD have won his Oscar for.

THE CLIENT

Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon star in this political thriller about a young boy who witnesses the death of a lawyer and becomes the target for the local mob.

DOG GONE

A Netflix original about a dog that goes missing, and his family goes looking for him. Rob Lowe is in it. It scored 50% on Rotten Tomatoes.

DON’T SAY A WORD

Michael Douglas, Famke Janssen, Sean Bean and the late, great Brittany Murphy star in this psychological thriller about a therapist who has to find a bank code hidden within the mind of one of his patients, or criminals will assassinate his family.

THE EQUALIZER 2

Not as good as the first one, but made enough money that we’re getting a third one this summer. We’re still very disappointed that they didn’t call it The Threeequalizer, though…

THE FULL MEASURE

We’ll be honest, we’ve never heard of this 2019 movie before. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, William Hurt, Sebastian Stan, Ed Harris, Christopher Plummer and Peter Fonda, and it is about the long-delayed awarding of a Medal Of Honor to one specific soldier. 60% on Rotten Tomatoes probably means it is … fine?

THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR

Another 2019 movie we’ve never heard of, this one an Irish documentary about the life and interactions of a funeral director. From the few reviews we could find of it online, it is apparently very, very good.

JFK

Oliver Stone’s epic investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy will devour your entire night – it is over 200 minutes long – but is well worth your time, thanks to some seriously impressive performances from Kevin Costner, Kevin Bacon, Tommy Lee Jones, Joe Pesci, Gary Oldman, Laurie Metcalf, Donald Sutherland and loads more besides.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD

Any excuse to re-share our interview with Brad and Margot…

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

The original and the best.

RUNAWAY JURY

A very decent crime thriller starring Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, John Cusask and Rachel Weisz.

UNDER SIEGE

Steven Seagal’s best movie recently turned 30 years old, and we wrote about how one tiny scene almost derailed the entire project.

Note: this additions apply to Netflix Ireland & UK.
