The true crime drama arrives on the streamer very soon.
Netflix has unveiled a trailer and a release date for its true crime drama about infamous US serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.
Titled Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the limited series sees Evan Peters (Mare of Easttown) play Dahmer who murdered 17 people between 1978 and 1991.
Comprising of ten episodes, Netflix says the show shines a spotlight on the as-yet untold stories of Dahmer’s victims.
“Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is a series that exposes these unconscionable crimes, centered around the underserved victims and their communities impacted by the systemic racism and institutional failures of the police that allowed one of America’s most notorious serial killers to continue his murderous spree in plain sight for over a decade,” the plot synopsis from the streamer reads.
As well as Peters, the cast of the series includes Michael Learned, Molly Ringwald, Nicey Nash, Penelope Ann Miller and Richard Jenkins.
Co-created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan (Glee), Monster arrives on Netflix on Wednesday, 21 September.
