The new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has arrived, and gives us a first look at the Green Goblin and Electro.
Following the events of Far From Home, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) goes to Dr Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to cast a spell to make everyone forget that he is Spider-Man.
The spell goes wrong (as they tend to do in films), and brings characters from across the Spider-Man universe to Tom Holland's New York.
Dr Octopus from 2004's Spider-Man 2 had already been confirmed in a previous trailer, but we have finally got a visual on other significant villains, Green Goblin and Electro.
Jamie Fox's Electro hasn't been seen since 2014's Amazing Spider-Man 2, whereas Willem Dafoe's take on the Green Menace hasn't been seen in nearly 20 years since the release of the first Spider-Man movie (bar one amazing scene in Spider-Man 3 that has to be seen to be believed).
Other villains from Spider-Man's canon make brief appearances in the trailer, including Sandman (Spider-Man 3) and The Lizard (Amazing Spider-Man).
The film looks to provide Tom Holland's Spider-Man with his greatest dilemma yet - sending these villains back to their own universes, knowing that their fate is to die fighting their own Spider-Man.
Notably absent from the trailer are these other universe Spider-Men, with no appearances from Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield.
There are nods and hints to their appearances, however; one shot shows MJ (Zendaya) falling backwards from a great height much like Gwen Stacy's death in Amazing Spider-Man 2, suggesting that a certain Spider-Man may have a shot at redemption...
The film is set to release in Irish cinemas on 15 December.
