Our TV movie pick for tonight (Wednesday, 2 September) is Nick of Time, a hugely underrated '90s action thriller.
The pair hand Watson a gun, order him to kill the state governor within 75 minutes, and threaten to murder his child if he does not comply.
"Smith accompanies Watson to a hotel where the governor is to speak, while Jones holds the girl. As Watson considers his options, the hour to act draws ever nearer," the plot synopsis adds.
Nick of Time was a commercial and critical flop upon release in 1995, and we've never understood why.
The movie boasts a thrilling and fast-paced story, stylish direction by John Badham (Saturday Night Fever, WarGames), and a villain turn for the ages by Walken.
If you don't believe us, check out this unforgettable threatening monologue he delivers as Mr Smith below:
Nick of Time is airing on TV tonight on the channel Legend Xtra at 9pm. It's also available to stream on Apple TV, Google Play and Prime Video.
