Nickelodeon legends Kenan and Kel are teaming up again… kind of

Well, not quite... If you're in your 20s right now then there's a strong chance that you grew up watching the Nickelodeon classic Kenan and Kel, starring Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. The pair also worked together on teenage comedies like All That and Goodburger. The four-season show finished up in 2000 and the pair went their separate ways, with Kenan Thompson joining the cast of Saturday Night Live. As of 2018, Thompson is the show's longest-serving cast member. Kel Mitchell has been... less busy. Kids these days unfortunately don't get that kind of quality programming anymore, but Kenan and Kel will be teaming up one more time on the silver screen. In a sense. The pair are joining forces for the reboot of a different show, the quiz show Double Dare, and Mitchell has confirmed that they'll be competing against each other. “I am so excited to be playing on Double Dare and for whole new generation of kids to experience this iconic game show,” Mitchell told Entertainment Weekly. “This episode will be double special because Kenan and I will be playing against each other and we are both huge fans of Double Dare. I can’t wait to see the super talented Liza Koshy rock it as the new host.” It's not quite the reunion that we're hoping for, but hopefully once they start hanging out then they'll fancy bringing this classic back... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvM8F4rgl5I The episode will air next Monday.
