The mononymous Zendaya (known to her mam as Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman) has previous experience on the Disney channel, starring in Shake It Up, Frenemies and Zapped since she made her debut at just 13 years old.

Still a youth at age 20, Zendaya has secured the much-discussed role of enigmatic high-school student Michelle, given the suspiciously familiar moniker of 'MJ' by her friends.

In an interview with Rory Cashin, Zendaya discusses the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming and the amazing fan reaction to her role in the film.
