The Bluths are coming back for another season…
One of the greatest shows in the history of television, Arrested Development, returned to our screens last year when they released Season 4 of the hit show on Netflix and to be honest it was a bit of a let down.
JOE are huge fans of the comedy but were left a little disappointed by the return because it seemed a bit all over the place and rushed. But that hasn’t stopped us getting excited about the news that the Bluth family are coming back for another season.
Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos says “it’s just a matter of when,” adding that sorting out actors’ schedules is a concern: It was “a fair criticism” of last year’s revival of the cult comedy “that the cast didn’t appear on screen often enough together.”

However, we may have to wait a little while for Season 5. The show’s creator Mitch Hurwitz says he wants to make an Arrested Development movie before another run at Netflix because it would be easier to get all the cast together for one solid shooting month.
The one good thing is that it’s coming back in some shape or form. We’ll forgive them for Season 4 and believe that they can recreate the classic comedy of the original run. STEVE HOLT!
