Netflix is saying goodbye to two of its biggest shows ever this weekend.
Here are all of the movies and shows you should be checking out in cinemas and at home to celebrate the end of another week.
To kick things off, here are the movies which will all be available on the big screens around Ireland from Friday, 29 April.
DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA
After the 2019 movie proved to be such a massive success, getting a sequel was only a matter of time. The gang head to the south of France in order to uncover the mystery of the Dowager Countess’ (Maggie Smith) newly inherited villa.
And now on to the stuff you can watch at home this week, starting with…
TEN PERCENT: SEASON ONE
The English-language remake of the much-loved French show Call My Agent, with the talent agency relocated to London. The group of agents are constantly scrambling to keep their A-list clients as happy as possible, with cameo appearances said to include Helena Bonham Carter, Olivia Williams, David Oyelowo, Jessica Oyelowo, Dominic West, Phoebe Dynevor and Kelly MacDonald.
The show will be available to watch on Prime Video from Thursday, 28 April.
OZARK: SEASON 4 PART TWO
Marty and Wendy are rid of Helen and climb to the top of Navarro’s empire. They find another opportunity to get out of the Ozarks but some past sins won’t stay buried and the most dangerous threats come from blood.
All of the final episodes will be available to watch on Netflix from Friday, 29 April.
GRACE AND FRANKIE: SEASON 7 – THE FINAL EPISODES
Here’s to seven seasons of laughs, tears, mood-enhancers, and good vibes. And, as Grace and Frankie would say, fuck it. This may be their final chapter, but they’re just getting started.
The final episodes will be available to watch on Netflix from Friday, 29 April.
UNDONE: SEASON TWO
The first season was one of the best hidden gems of recent years, so if you haven’t watched it yet, we highly recommend you catch up on it ASAP before the arrival of the new season. Rosa Salazar and Bob Odenkirk return as daughter and (deceased?) father in this time-bending sci-fi emotional rollercoaster.
The new season will be available to watch on Prime Video from Friday, 29 April.
VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE
Stream from Friday, 29 April.
The sequel to the hit 2018 movie has Tom Hardy return as the Eddie Brock, the journalist who also happens to be housing an incredibly powerful alien symbiote. This time, they find they’re the target of a serial killer (Woody Harrelson), who has developed a taste for Eddie’s powers.
The movie will be available to watch with your NOW Cinema Membership from Friday, 29 April. We chatted to the movie’s director Andy Serkis, and you can check out that interview in full right here:
SHINING GIRLS
Elisabeth Moss headlines this creepy thriller, playing the only survivor of a horrific serial killer who appears to have been targeting women over multiple decades, leaving a reality-bending impact on the lives of those he has impacted.
The first episode will debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, 29 April.
