The pair split up last week.

One of the highest-profile couples of 2018 split up last week, as Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson ended their brief relationship.

The two were together for a number of months, and were both extremely public and open about their strong feelings for each other.

Since their breakup, Davidson deleted all of his social media accounts, and had cancelled a number of his stand-up gigs.

He has recently broken his silence since the pair’s split.

According to E News, Davidson opened the night by addressing the split saying “Well, as you could tell, I don’t want to be here. There’s a lot going on.”

He then joked about the situation, asking: “Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?”

He also spoke about the pair and their matching tattoos that they got to celebrate their relationship, and admitted that in hindsight they may not have been the best idea.

Davidson said: “So, obviously you know we broke up or whatever but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos,” he shared. “And it was like in a magazine like, ‘Was Pete Davidson stupid?’ And 93% of it said yes.”

“So my boy, he was like, ‘Don’t listen to that shit man. They’re literally fucking haters.’ And I’m like, yeah, fuck that. I’m not stupid. And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, ‘Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'”

Despite not publicly discussing the situation herself, Grande’s PR team has announced that she would be taking some time off following the release of her Sweetener album:

“Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend. She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.”
