Ariana Grande breaks her silence following break-up with Pete Davidson

She posted an explicit message to Instagram on Tuesday night.

The whirlwind romance of singer Ariana Grande and comedian Pete Davidson came to an end over the weekend, with reports that Grande had returned the engagement ring to her now ex-fiance, but keeping the pet pig he bought for her, the fantastically named Piggy Smalls.

Sources reportedly told TMZ that it “simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off” and that “the two still have love for each other, but things are over romantically”.

In the wake of the break-up, SNL regular Davidson deleted all of his social media accounts, and has cancelled a number of stand-up gigs.

Grande had remained quiet online in the days after the engagement ended, but on Tuesday night posted the following message on her Instagram Story:

“Can’t believe I almost let my anxiety ruin this for me today!!! Not today, Satan! Not tomorrow or the next day either, not no more. You can suck my big green d*ck. Finna sing my heart out and be a big walking vessel of love, bye.”

Just a few weeks ago, Grande’s ex-boyfriend Mac Miller was found dead, reportedly from a drug overdose.

Since then, Grande’s PR team had announced that she would be taking some time off following the release of her Sweetener album:

“Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend. She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.”
