A born assassin.
Movie-goers and video game fans alike are anticipating the 2016 release of Assassin’s Creed, a Hollywood movie based on the extremely popular video game.
Fassbender will play a character called Callum Lynch, who does not feature in the games. Fassbender’s character, created specifically for the movie, discovers that he is a descendent of the ancient Assassins society who must take on the oppressive Knights Templar organisation.
The Assassin’s Creed film won’t be a retelling of the video games, rather it will feature a host of new characters and take place in the Assassin’s Creed universe.
It’s set to be a star-studded cast, also featuring the Oscar-winning Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams (of The Wire), and Ariane Labed.

Neeson, Brosnan, Fassbender… Is it just us or do Irish lads always get the badass roles? Must be something about us.
