If JOE won the lottery, or inherited a small fortune from our dear deceased Uncle MOE, then there would be a few things on our must-buy list. An endless supply of Burger Bites, a helper monkey and a personal jetpack would all be on the list, but this Death Star-themed home theatre has now definitely jumped to the very top of our list.

Apparently an undisclosed client in Seattle has commissioned a company named DillonWorks in Mukilteo to design a home theatre that resembles Darth Vader’s gaf; we can’t imagine the Sith Lord lives in a two bedroomed house with a nice back garden.

The theatre is rumoured to have automatic opening doors that make the ‘swoosh’ sound, there’ll be twinkling star fields to look at and a raised floor to resemble the gangplanks in the Death Star.

Designer Doug Chiang was commissioned for the job and his the results are stunning. Take a look…

Here’s hoping that Luke Skywalker and those pesky Rebels don’t come along and destroy this theatre… twice. JOE always had more love for the Empire anyway.
