There aren't many movies as universally beloved as 1985's Back To The Future, so it's no real surprise that this tweet from the Gardaí Twitter account has gone down a storm.
The lads appeared to stop and chat to the owner of a pretty swish DeLorean this morning like the one that Marty McFly and Doc Brown used to travel through time in the movie. Whether or not he was actually pulled over for an offence is pretty unclear.
The caption accompanying the picture reads "Great Scott! ....I don’t care what year you say you are going to, you can’t do 88mph here Doc!" though that could just be a joke.
