Hardly a day goes by where JOE doesn’t find an excuse to use a Father Ted reference in normal conversation but it’s a rare occasion when a lookalike comes our way.
Craggy Island’s favourite sewage driver Tom only had money on his mind once during the show. Who can forget that famous scene when he withdrew his cash from the post office without using the ‘proper’ forms.
Tom is a simple/psychotic man who’s usually much more interested in shooting birds with a shotgun or putting some rabbits in the vice.
The extremely talented Sam Smith definitely wouldn’t have to confess to Fr Ted about killing a man or getting into an argument like Tom did but that’s not to say the two men don’t have any similarities.
We couldn’t stop laughing after seeing this mashup.
To paraphrase Tom, “doesn’t it look like a face…swap?”.
