There’s a fair share of hairy Celts auditioning for Vikings in Dublin today.
Last week we brought you the news that the hit Irish/Canadian TV show Vikings was looking for 8,000 extras to help out with filming here in Ireland.
The casting crew said they were looking for thousands of adults (18+) from all ethnic backgrounds with varying levels of hairiness and haircuts to fill a wide variety of rolls.
Judging by the pics sent into us by JOE reader Lennard Ramone, the casting crew will have their work cut out trying to choose from all of these wannabe Vikings.
If you missed the boat to Valhalla this time around, you can always attend the other two casting days which will be held in Dublin and Wicklow, see below.
Dublin – Filmbase, Curved St, Temple Bar, D2
Wednesday 1st April 2015 between 9.30am – 5pm
Wicklow – The Grand Hotel, Abbey St, Wicklow Town
Tuesday 7th April between 10am – 6pm
The official Vikings Extras Event Page gives prospective extras a list of pointers that they should read through before applying for a role.
It’s probably worth checking that out before heading along. Throw on some Miracle-Gro and start growing yourself a beard.
