Louis Theroux is comfortably among the greatest documentarians of our time.
His latest documentary A Different Brain, about what happens to people after brain injuries alter their personalities, has created a lot of buzz and discussion on social media after it aired last night.
Over the course of his career he has confronted neo-Nazis, the Westboro Baptists Church, the Church of Scientology and many other controversial institutions. This means that at any given time, there’s a solid chance of something ridiculous happening in one of his documentaries.
This becomes a lot more stark once you start to screen-grab those moments and take them out of context. That’s exactly what new Twitter account ‘No Context Louis’ is doing, and we love it.
