She’s TV’s best known mother, but if the 'real life' Marge Simpson looked like this then most people might mistake her for some kind of creepy monster...

The Russian photographer Alexander Khokhlov recently set about creating a ‘real life’ Marge Simpson with the help of some extremely creative individuals and quite a few real chrysanthemum flowers painted blue. After a lot of work from make-up artist Veronica Ershova and hair stylist Mikhail Kravchenko, the model Kate Moukhina was transformed into the closest thing we’ll ever see to a 'real life' Marge Simpson.

While it’s an impressive piece of work, the end product is still fairly creepy. Maybe we’re just a little to used to seeing Marge hand drawn in two dimensions?
