Oh the mighty deception of CGI.
The biggest, most concrete, most business driven academic university in Ireland masquerading as Washington, is not something we ever thought of.
Yes, the movie looks several shades of mediocre, the cliches are back-breaking and the thriller tropes are exhaustively box ticked.
However I.T., starring Pierce Brosnan, has something that possibly no other Brosnan movie has; UCD UCD UCD.
If we hadn’t once dipped into the lake to retrieve a stolen bicycle and if the tetanus shot still didn’t show, we might just believe in University College Washington.
Also featuring; the steps of the Arts block, home of loitering and cigarette smoke, have been remodelled kept exactly the same and it looks like some classic private school gossip is BREAKING.
And finally one for the more scientific eye; Pierce and the gang in their element in one of UCD’s more ritzy buildings.
It might be worth watching I.T for the location spotting alone.
