8 great new (and classic) additions coming to Prime Video in March

Rory Cashin

Star Trek, The Boys and the erotic thriller (!!) are all making a comeback in March.

On top of the incredible amount of big movies added to its line-up each and every week – like these these 28 new additions that joined the library earlier this week – Prime Video has revealed its schedule for what we can expect to arrive throughout the month of March.

So on top of some classic movie additions, we’re also getting some brand new movies and shows, starting with…

STAR TREK: PICARD – SEASON 2

Picking up where the hit first season left us off, with the former USS Captain Jean-Luc Picard given a new lease of life, the second season of the series will bring back even more fan favourite characters, including the God-like Q (John de Lancie) and the psychically empowered Guinan (Whoopi Goldberg).

The first episode of the second season of Star Trek: Picard arrives on Friday, 4 March, with the rest of the series arriving each Friday after that.

THE BOYS: DIABOLICAL

The animated spin-off series of the much-loved live-action evil-superheroes season will consist of episodes that will each run no longer than 15 minutes, featuring an incredible voice cast including Awkwafina, Ilana Glazer, Seth Rogen, Justin Roiland, Andy Samberg and Aisha Tyler.

All eight episodes will be available to watch from Friday, 4 March.

UPLOAD – SEASON TWO

The new season of the show from the creator of Parks & Rec and the US Office continues the sci-fi comedic premise of people being digitally uploaded to a sort of technological afterlife, where Nathan (Robbie Amell) discovers that the same issues of falling in and out love are very present even after you’ve “died”.

All seven episodes will be available to watch from Friday, 11 March.

DEEP WATER

Director Adrian Lyne (Unfaithful, Indecent Proposal, Fatal Attraction) is hoping to revive the erotic thriller genre with this story of a husband (Ben Affleck) who finds himself the prime suspect when some of the men his wife (Ana De Armas) has extramarital affairs with are found murdered.

The movie will arrive on Friday, 18 March.

GLADIATOR

A huge box office hit and the winner of five Academy Awards, this first team-up of director Ridley Scott and star Russell Crowe single-handedly brought back the sword’n’sandals epic.

Gladiator is available to watch from Monday, 21 March.

BACK TO THE FUTURE PARTS I & II

The first two entries in Robert Zemeckis’ hugely popular sci-fi action-comedy series sees a teenager (Michael J. Fox) and his mad scientist neighbour (Christopher Lloyd) travelling backwards and forwards through time in their souped-up DeLorean.

Both movies will be available to watch from Sunday, 27 March.

THE WOLF OF WALL STREET & THE REVENANT

Two absolutely stellar Leonardo DiCaprio movies arrive on Prime Video this month.

The Wolf of Wall Street sees the actor once again teaming up with Martin Scorsese for the biopic of infamous stock trader Jordan Belfort, while The Revenant is the period action-drama that finally bagged Leo his Best Actor Oscar.

The Wolf Of Wall Street will be available from Monday, 21 March.

The Revenant will be available from Monday, 28 March.
