Some great movies and shows to enjoy over the 30 days!

November is already pretty jammers with new stuff to watch, thanks to Netflix recently announcing its list of brand new content, as well as classic movies and shows arriving in the month, and Disney+ doing the same.

Now it is Amazon Prime Video’s turn, and we’ve gone through the streaming service’s full slate over the next 30 days and picked out the highlights, starting with:

A MAN NAMED SCOTT

A documentary looking at the career of Scott Mescudi, better known to the world as Kid Cudi.

Ever since releasing his landmark his debut album Man On The Moon: The End Of Day in 2009, all eyes have been on Scott to see what he would be doing next.

This doc looks at his inspirations, journey, struggles and breakthroughs over that time.

A Man Named Scott will be arriving on Friday, 5 November.

THE MARKSMAN

Liam Neeson fronts this dramatic thriller, as a rancher on the Arizona border becomes the unlikely defender of a young Mexican boy desperately fleeing the cartel assassins who’ve pursued him into America.

The Marksman will be arriving on Friday, 5 November.

AD ASTRA

Brad Pitt’s thoughtful, epic sci-fi drama manages to be tense, emotional and… a little bit weird.

He plays an astronaut travelling from Earth to a space station on the edges of our galaxy, where his long-thought-dead father may have actually been hiding out for decades.

Ad Astra will be arriving on Wednesday, 1o November.

CURSE OF THE CHIPPENDALES

A four-part documentary series looks at the rise and fall of the Chippendales, the iconic group of male strippers and dancers.

Kicking off by taking over the clubs of LA with “Ladies Only” nights, it would soon result in entangled murder plots and multiple deaths within the troupe.

The first season of The Curse of the Chippendales will be arriving on Friday, 12 November.

DOCTOR SLEEP

The sequel to The Shining doesn’t quite match up to that classic’s iconic levels of scariness, but it does see the guy behind The Haunting of Hill House bring his own unique tone of creepiness.

Ewan McGregor is the grown-up Danny, still haunted by the events within the Overlook Hotel, while also trying to hunt down a group of killers who target young children.

Doctor Sleep will be arriving on Wednesday, 17 November.

THE WHEEL OF TIME

As we mentioned when we covered the trailer launch last month, this is the show that could fill that Game Of Thrones void in your life (at least until Prime Video brings us The Lord of the Rings next year).

Check the trailer via that link there to get a feeling of whether you think it is for you or not.

The first season of The Wheel of Time will be arriving on Friday, 19 November.

THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO

Now that he’s done being Bond, you should go back and have a look at Daniel Craig in something very different.

David Fincher’s incredibly dark thriller sees Craig’s journalist team up with Rooney Mara’s private investigator/hacker in order to track down the prime suspect in a decades-old missing persons case.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo will be arriving on Tuesday, 23 November.

QUEENPINS

Based on the true story, a bored and frustrated homemaker (Kristen Bell) and her BFF (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) kick off a multi-million dollar coupon scam, getting the attention of law (headed by Vince Vaughn) along the way.

Queenpins will be arriving on Friday, 26 November.
