Peter Andre is on The Ray D’Arcy Show tonight

Because some careers never end.

Hey kids, remember Peter Andre?

Remember pop banger ‘Mysterious Girl’ and its endlessly-played video in which both location and star seemed to glisten like Christy Moore in the live arena?

Sure you do.

‘Peter Andre’ as a term is basically a shortcut for ‘The 90s’ but the man has serious staying power, vaulting from chart success to jungle-themed reality television to marrying Jordan over the past 25 years.

With a CV like that, it makes perfect sense for him to be the lead guest on The Ray D’Arcy Show in January of 2019, right?

Celebrating that 25-year milestone in the entertainment business, the English-Australian star will sit down with Ray to chat his life and career, taking in the dizzying highs, creamy middles and terrifying lows that come with the music industry and beyond.

And yes, he’ll discuss why ‘Mysterious Girl’ seemingly has all-timer status.

Elsewhere on Saturday night’s show, candid weight loss expert Dr Eva Orsmond will chat about her new book which aims to help people take control of their type 2 diabetes, as well as her ‘health hotel” project in Portugal.

Award-winning writer Emilie Pine will discuss Notes to Self, an open and honest personal story which looks to break the silence around topics like infertility, sexual violence, menstruation and menopause.

There’ll also be the unique comedy stylings of David McSavage and an ABBA-focused turn from the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

The Ray D’Arcy Show airs tonight – Saturday 12 January – on RTÉ One at 9.45pm
