Razzies: ‘After Earth’ and ‘Movie 43’ lead the list of worst films of the year

Not Will Smith's finest hour.

Tony Cuddihy

Will and Jaden Smith’s complete flop ‘After Earth’ has taken home three Golden Raspberries in the annual ‘worst-of’ film awards.

The sci-fi epic was panned by critics and young Jaden ‘won’ the Worst Actor award at last night’s event, with his dad Will not exactly taking home (because they didn’t show up) the Worst Supporting Actor nod.

The Worst Picture went to ‘Movie 43,’ a complete dud of a comedy starring the likes of Kate Winslet, Richard Gere, Emma Stone and Hugh Jackman, while ‘The Lone Ranger’ was voted ‘Worst Remake/Rip-Off or Sequel.’

Adam Sandler will have been relieved to avoid the Worst Actor award for the third year in a row, having previously been dishonoured for ‘Jack and Jill’ and ‘That’s My Boy’ in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
