Ridley Scott’s new film starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon is looking for hundreds of extras in Ireland

If you think a career in film is your ideal life path then you may be in luck, because a casting call from Ridley Scott’s new film, The Last Duel, could be right up your street.

The Last Duel is an epic period feature film which will be shooting in various parts of Ireland over the coming months and will mostly take place around Dublin, Wicklow, Meath and Tipperary.

It will star Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Adam Driver and Jodie Comer.

The film’s creators are looking for hundreds of extras to play roles in huge crowd scenes in the coming months.

An open casting will take Dublin city centre in the Liberty Hall (SIPTU Building) on Friday, 21 February between 10am and 6pm and they’re looking for a wide variety of people to take up roles.

It’s paid work, the open casting will be open to adults and no previous experience is required to apply for the roles. No appointments are needed and you can turn up anytime between the hours stated.

Anyone wishing to apply should take note of the following…

  • You need to be a full time resident and living in Ireland with a working visa and PPS number.
  • You don’t need an appointment and can turn up anytime between the hours stated.
  • You have to attend the casting to apply.
  • Please only attend if you wish to apply, time is limited and they want to give everyone genuinely wishing to apply a chance.
  • The process will only take about 20 minutes when you get into the venue.
  • Please be prepared and arrive with knowledge of your measurements such as your height, chest, dress and show sizes.
  • When the film’s creators call for work/fittings, notice can sometimes be very short so availability should be good.

The casting takes place in the Liberty Hall (SIPTU building), Eden Quay, Dublin 1, on Friday 21 February between 10am and 6pm.
