This Sunday, the first of two episodes of Room to Improve - Dermot's Home will air on RTÉ One at 9.30pm. The eagerly-anticipated show sees Dermot undertake the most important project of his career, renovating his new family home.
For the first time, Dermot is both the client and architect – a dual role in which he’s far from comfortable.
As Dermot struggles to realise his vision, he’ll need all the help he can get. The first programme of this two-part addition to Ireland’s favourite home design series sees Dermot reunited with his former on-screen partner, the no-nonsense quantity surveyor Patricia Power.
