The popular RTÉ show Bridget & Eamon is going Stateside. Amazon in America has picked up the series and will begin streaming the show. Starring and written by Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O'Shea, the show gives an insight into life in Ireland in the 1980s in a hilarious way. Sometimes it's almost too accurate. The show originally began as a segment on Republic of Telly but branched off to have its own spin-off show.
