Ryan Reynolds Free Guy

Yeah, this is definitely a Ryan Reynolds movie.

Following the colossal success of Deadpool and its sequel, Ryan Reynolds likely has a blank cheque in Hollywood to do whatever he wants.

By the looks of new movie Free Guy, he’s going for an ‘If it ain’t broke…’ approach.

Directed by Shawn Levy (Cheaper by the Dozen, the Night at the Museum series), Free Guy tells the story of, er, Guy – a seemingly ordinary bloke who happens to be a non-player character in a Grand Theft Auto-style open world video game.

Upon discovering this, Guy decides to become the ultimate action hero, allowing Reynolds to showcase his usual comedy chops along the way.

Free Guy, which arrives on 3 July, 2020, co-stars the likes of Jodie Comer, Stranger Things’ Joe Keery and Taika Waititi.
