It looks like She-Hulk has just officially introduced Wolverine into the MCU

We get another big push towards the full return of all of the X-Men…

There have been plenty of hints over the last few years that the X-Men were going to be officially rebooted and brought in as major players within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In WandaVision, we got the X-Men: Days of Future Past version of Pietro Maximoff (played by Evan Peters), although in the end, that turned out to be a massive misdirect.

In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, our heroes visited a city which housed a specific bar sign with major significance.

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Professor X himself (Patrick Stewart) made an appearance, but he was from an alternative timeline.

And, most recently, Ms. Marvel had a character referring to their powers as a “mutation”, which was accompanied by the famous X-Men music sting.

All signs have been pointing to the integration of the X-Men into the wider MCU, and the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law adds to that by giving us out first full mention of Wolverine… sort of.

Having just been fired from her job, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) is commiserating with her bestie Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga), while absent-mindedly going through some online job listings.

It is on this website that the more eagle-eyed amongst us spotted a connected article…

Yep, on the right, there is a headline: “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl”.

So, we’re taking that as the writers of the show giving a cheeky hint that Logan himself is already out there in the MCU as we know it, apparently getting up to the same tricks we saw him do when he was introduced to us in that very first X-Men movie way back in 2000.

Below that, there are other articles also referencing the climax of Eternals; finally someone is talking about “Why there is a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean?”.

As we previously reported, there are currently EIGHT untitled Marvel projects scheduled to arrive in 2024 and 2025, and any of those could be X-Men movies, either as the group or introducing individual characters.

Additionally, Kingsman star Taron Egerton revealed that he has had meetings with Marvel, expressing his interest in playing the role of Wolverine.

At this rate, we imagine it won’t be long before we finally get to see our favourite Weapon X back on the back screen.
