Sneaky students convince teacher to play Fifty Shades of Grey in class

The teacher didn’t know what the movie was about… apparently

Remember when the teacher would let you watch a movie in class as a reward?

As a teacher, one of the best ways to make your class sit up straight, put the phones away and actually listen is to cut a deal with them. Bribery, if you will.

This can be by letting them do their homework in class, going outside to play football or even agreeing to let them watch a movie instead of doing actual classwork.

The last example above is exactly what one teacher in West Virginia did with her class recently. So far so good, right?

As a reward for good behaviour, the teacher let the class choose a movie of their choice and seeing as the room was filled with sneaky hormonal teenagers, they asked the teacher if they could watch Fifty Shades of Grey.

Yep… Whips, chains and all.

Unfortunately, it appears as though the teacher in question didn’t know what the movie was about and agreed to show it to the class.

Thankfully, for the sake of the children, the saucy movie was cut short when the school’s assistant principle walked past the classroom and saw that the particular screening in question wasn’t exactly “school-appropriate”.

Speaking to the Charleston Daily Mail, principal Jeff Woofter said: “Fortunately, an assistant principal walked by and saw what they were doing.

“They got there 10 minutes after it started and shut it down.

“I will say it was an extreme lack of judgment from an otherwise very capable teacher.

“[She] didn’t do a background check on the movie or even ask about it.”

No word on whether or not the teacher, and/or the kids, will be getting a bollocking over the raunchy screening.
