The sequel to one of the funniest and most outrageous comedies in recent years is shaping up to be an absolute belter.
As if we weren’t already super-excited about Ted 2, Seth MacFarlane has only gone and confirmed that Liam Neeson will be joining an already stellar-looking cast for the sequel, which is due to be released next summer.
Having already secured Morgan Freeman for a role in recent weeks, MacFarlane confirmed on Twitter last night that Neeson, a man who was become the biggest badass in the movie industry in the last decade or so, will join Freeman as well as Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried, who will be replacing Mila Kunis as Wahlberg’s love interest.
We’re awful sad to lose you Mila but Amanda’s not a bad replacement to have in fairness.
Yesterday Liam Neeson, today Morgan Freeman. Not a bad week for #Ted2.

MacFarlane and Neeson have already worked together on the ultimately disappointing A Million Ways to Die in the West and if somehow, he can convince Neeson to attempt his famous Taken speech in a Kermit the Frog accent, as MacFarlane did on Graham Norton recently, then we’re in for a treat (the speech kicks in around 5:40 into the video below)…
