Sons of Anarchy fans, the wait is nearly over!
It’s time to start riding again (hehehehe). Ok, stop laughing because on a a serious note, Mayans MC has unleashed its first full trailer and it looks like we’re in for a treat.
As you can see below, we’re finally introduced to the main character Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo), a young man who just got out of prison and is a prospect for the titular charter on the California/Mexico border.
After leaving prison, EZ now has to figure out his new identity in the town of Santo Padre, California as his idealistic pursuit of the American dream has been crushed into the ground.
After hopping on his bike and heading into town, we meet EZ’s brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) and are told what it means to commit every single aspect of your life to the Mayans M.C.
After learning that his life was ruined by cartel violence, we see various images of drugs, heavily armed policemen, torture and violence. Bring it on!
In terms of chronology, Mayans MC takes place two and a half years after the events of Sons of Anarchy.
Will EZ’s thirst for vengeance leads him towards a life he never really wanted? After all, as the show’s tagline states: “once you’re in, there’s no out.”
