Sophie Turner names the person she believes is to blame for Starbucks cup in Game of Thrones

Listen to JOE’s brand new Game Of Thrones reaction show, The North Awaits, with Michael Fry & Carl Kinsella right here.

That cup, that fucking cup…

Never in the history of the world has a cup made such a shit storm since the Starbucks cup that was spotted in the most recent episode of Game of Thrones.

In the fourth episode of the eighth season of the show, our heroes can be seen celebrating their victory over the White Walkers in Winterfell; drinking crap wine, chewing on chicken legs and literally shitting themselves.

Someone – in between sups of wine – was also enjoying a nice flat white from Starbucks, and unfortunately the shot of the cup remained in the show after all editing and cutting had been done.

Immediately after the cup was spotted, the actress who plays Daenerys Targaryen, Emilia Clarke, posted a tongue-in-cheek message on Instagram suggesting that the actor who played the late Khal Drogo, Jason Momoa, was responsible for the cup being on the table at the time.

In an interview this week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the show, stated that it was in fact Clarke who deserves the blame for the cup.

In the interview with Fallon, Turner responded to a video call from husband and self-proclaimed “biggest fan” Joe Jonas, who asked what the deal was with the cup?

“Well… look who is right by the cup… obviously it was Emilia,” said Turner. “She’s the culprit!”

Of course, none of this really matters, because it’s not the actors who edit the show, so really it’s none of their faults.
