Here is your movie menu for the evening of Wednesday, 1 February, starting with….

Deep Impact – FilmFour – 6.40pm

Goldfinger – ITV4 – 8pm

Sean Connery headlines this 1964 spy movie, arguably remains the single best James Bond film ever made.

Minority Report – FilmFour – 9pm

Spielberg’s new movie The Fabelmans is in cinemas now, which we called his best film of the last decade. In 2022, we wrote all about Minority Report for its 20th anniversary, and how it is actually his best film of all time. If you disagree, it might be time for a rewatch tonight! If you agree, well, you’ll already want to rewatch it.

Point Break – TCM – 9pm

Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves star in this iconic action thriller about a criminal and the cop trying to take him down, but their complicated friendship makes that incredibly difficult.

Elijah Wood stars in this shocking violent horror movie about a drifter who is seduced by a beautiful woman into murdering her husband… but she doesn’t know what she has unleashed by interacting with him.

Passenger 57 – TCM – 11.20pm

Wesley Snipes invites us to “Always bet on black” in this fun but dumb action thriller set around a hijacked airplane.

Lapsis – FilmFour – 11.50pm

This sci-fi drama has a score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. We’ve literally never heard of it before, so if you’re interested in checking out something that could be amazing and you’re going in blind, look no further.
