Did you see last night’s episode of Family Guy? Well, if you’re waiting to watch it during the week then you might want to avoid Seth MacFarlane’s Twitter account until then.
SPOILER ALERT: So, first and foremost, BRIAN LIVES!!! Yes, that’s right Family Guy fans and people who cared just a little bit too much about a cartoon dog, the beloved canine returns from the dead in the latest episode of the show.
In fairness, it’s not much of a shock as last week we reported that Brian might be coming back to life. Well, he did, and you can wait to see exactly how he returns by watching the show when it airs on TV here in Ireland, or you can read what happens below.
In the Christmas special, titled ‘Christmas Guy’, Stewie uses a time machine to travel back in time to just before Brian gets run over by the car. The time travelling Stewie then tackles Brain out of harm’s way and says, ‘You’re alive, my friend.’
Brian: ‘What the hell do you mean? Of course I’m alive.’
Stewie: ‘Brian that car killed you and when it did a little part of me died as well. I couldn’t live without you. So I came back from the future to save your life.’
Brian: ‘Wow Stewie, thank you for saving my life. You know a lot of other families would have just gotten a new dog and moved on.’
Stewie: ‘Oh, we could never do something like that Brian.’
It’s funny, because that’s exactly what the Griffin family did do! That cheeky little…
Anyway, here’s what Seth had to say on Twitter following the show…
And thus endeth our warm, fuzzy holiday lesson: Never take those you love for granted, for they can be gone in a flash.

I mean, you didn’t really think we’d kill off Brian, did you? Jesus, we’d have to be fucking high.
