Good news, everyone! The very first picture of the Simpsons/Futurama crossover has finally been revealed online…

There has been plenty of talk about the Simpsons and Griffin family’s hour-long crossover episode that’s set to open season 13 of Family Guy (check out more about that here), but now we’ve turned our attention to the second crossover episode to include Homer, Bart and the rest of the Simpsons clan.

Entertainment Weekly recently uploaded the picture below saying that the special episode, called ‘Simpsonrama’, will air on November 9 in the US. Speaking to EW, Simpsons creator Matt Groening said: “[Simpsonrama] was a really tough one to negotiate, because I had to talk to myself”.

As with all Futurama episodes, ‘Simpsonrama’ features a tagline-joke in the opening credits that will read: “a show out of ideas teams up with a show out of episodes”, and while that might be a painfully true summery of both shows, it’s also pretty damn funny…

The episode is set to feature Futurama voicecast members Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, Tress MacNeille, and Maurice LaMarche and will see Bender heading back in time in order to kill Bart.

We really can’t wait. Roll on November…
