GET HYPED.
Any new Christopher Nolan project usually gets the blood pumping.
His next project, Tenet, has been shrouded in plenty of mystery.
Until now.
Very much operating in an Inception type of vein, the new thriller boasts the likes of John David Washington (son of Denzel and star of Spike Lee’s BlackKklansman), Robert Pattinson, Michael Caine (of course), Kenneth Branagh, Elizabeth Debicki, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson among its cast.
As for what it’s all about, well, good question.
On the surface, it would appear to be an adventure in which Washington’s character swaps out a normal enough life for one that finds him traversing a terrifying underworld where the future of the world itself is at stake.
All he has to guide him is one word, which, wouldn’t you know it, is the very title of the film.
Throw in gravity-defying action sequences, pretty-looking cinematography and tension-filled music courtesy of composer Ludwig Göransson and yep, you have yourself a Christopher Nolan film.
Tenet hits cinemas on 17 July, 2020.
