We all want to see an Entourage movie, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer
The Entourage movie has been held up due to one or more of the cast members asking for too much money, according to Mark Wahlberg at least.
He was interviewed yesterday by someone from TMZ who asked him about the movie (around the 1:03 mark), and being the executive producer, he should be in the know. He stated that it was on hold for now (it was originally scheduled for Spring 2014) because “someone’s being greedy”
According to the lads at Brobible, the person who most people think is holding up the whole project is Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), which would be a very strange move, while other reports are claiming that it’s a number of the cast who are causing problems.
As Wahlberg himself states, if they sit down and get it done they can all make some money (while hinting at even doing a few of them), so let’s hope that the wisest course of action is taken from all parties.
