The hurling reference in Making A Murderer that everyone missed until now

Paddy McKenna

It’s the viewing sensation of the festive season.

Since Making A Murderer dropped on Netflix earlier this month anyone who’s watched it has had their minds’ blown.

What no one seems to have spotted yet (with the exception eagle-eyed JOE reader, Ian Murphy) is that not only does Stephen Avery’s defence lawyer appear to have played hurling, he looks to have been useful enough to win a trophy.

That looks to be a pretty decent trophy to be fair and he’s clearly proud that he won it!

I’ve not seen a single episode of MAM yet, so I can’t say whether or not a Cork or Tipperary fan will want to claim Strang, although a stronger defence is something that the rebels have been chasing ever since Diarmuid O’Sullivan retired…

Cheers to Ian Murphy for sending this our way.  If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102, [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter
