The lineup for The Ray D’Arcy Show this evening is pretty damn impressive

Colm Boohig

If you’re saving your money for Sunday night this Bank Holiday weekend…

… You could do a lot worse than watching The Ray D’Arcy Show this evening.

The broadcaster has received a lot of criticism for his presenting style and line of questioning since embarking on his own talk show, but the lineup for this evening’s offering is definitely noteworthy.

Here’s who will be joining Ray on the sofa…

David Hasselhoff

Yes, the Baywatch legend and all round character, The Hoff (remember when he officially changed his name?!), is in the capital to have a party for himself and will be stopping by for a chinwag.

We look forward to this particular interaction, we must say.

Nicky Byrne

All eyes will be on the former Westlife man, Nicky Byrne, as he heads to the Eurovision on Ireland’s behalf with his tune, ‘Sunlight’.

The entertainer will be talking to Ray about his preparations ahead of his trip to Stockholm.

Bernard Brogan

Dublin’s All Ireland-winning footballer will be appearing to talk about picking up yet another National League Championship, as well as talking about what’s next for the 32-year-old.

Damien Dempsey

The famed singer-songwriter from Dublin will be on for a chat as well as performing some of his brilliant tunes including, hopefully, this belter…

Denise Welch

The former Coronation Street star will be talking to Ray about life in the soaps.

Old fans of Corrie will remember Denise well.

Not a bad ‘aul show, to be fair.

The Ray D’Arcy Show starts at 9.45 pm on RTÉ One.
